Tabitha commented on Lights for Bikes and Bike Education

The simple truth is when I ride my bike I am being productive with my energy...it leads to a healthier sleep, a more relaxed and free brain, and a contribution to my physical health/body weight. Riding my bike is also a healthy contribution to my environment; supports natural resources, supports trade skills, and allows the wind in my hair as LOVE would have it!

Tabitha commented on Lights for Bikes and Bike Education

Hello. Glad I could speak up and be heard! Education classes to teach bike riders how to signal, use of headphones while riding, the laws we must obey, the proper way to use gears on city streets, and any other life-saving information experienced riders might share...with an incentive such as fancy bike lights/bike lock or a rebate for certian items related to biking ease and comfort. Updates for bike lanes in Austin/traffic conditions via downloaded app...with feedback regarding times of day recommend. Teach people how to ride as a group in car lanes to ensure saftey and flow of all modes of transportation to and fro job sites. I'll add more as time permits, for now I hope this helps.
