Freebee is not just a transit solution, but also an economic development tool designed to physically drive traffic to local business and promote the community. Our service is fully customizable, aimed at meeting the goals and objectives that municipalities are looking to achieve. Understanding every area has a totally different look and feel, we are able to adapt our program in order to meet those needs.
Our organization prides itself on executing turnkey solutions for local governments who
are looking for ways to decrease car use, while providing transit solutions that promote connectivity and a better quality of life. Challenges Within Miami-Dade: Lack of Connectivity
Transit begins the moment an individual decides they need to go somewhere. The traveler then evaluates the desirability of a transit trip based on multiple criteria for the entirety of the door- to-door journey. If the transit mode is convenient, reliable, cost-efficient, and safe; 9 out of 10 times you’ll capture that rider. This is where Freebee, the leader in first/last mile transportation, plays an important role in Miami-Dade County’s transit ecosystem. There is nothing that will be more convenient, reliable, cost-efficient, and safe then being able to provide someone FREE, on-demand, door-to-door transportation. The ability to pick someone up where they are at, and take them wherever they need to go within a defined geographical area is the definition of convenience.
Freebee’s solution is designed to provide a seamless complement to other transit services, as well as provide easier access to the existing transportation network by acting as a connector between all of the different transit hubs and stops/stations. For example, a resident who lives in Downtown Coral Gables and works in Brickell would be able to use Freebee as a mobility option to travel door-to-door from their home to the nearest Trolley stop. Then hop on the Trolley to get to Brickell, and once off the Trolley in Brickell, can catch another Freebee on-demand to their final destination.
Freebee also is a mobility solution for people traveling short distances within communities. Freebee provides benefits to all stakeholders; residents, workers, visitors, and local businesses. Operating a mobility service like Freebee for people traveling short distances provides many benefits; getting cars off the road, reduced traffic and parking congestion, and a better quality of life.
Our service will have the added benefit of increasing the attractiveness of Miami-Dade County for businesses looking to re-locate here by providing a transit alternative that will connect to the County's Transit System. By providing a safe and reliable service, employers will be more apt to invest in a community where their employees don’t have to spend hours in their car, are late due to the unreliability of regular transit options, or need to spend an inordinate amount on parking. Our innovative program has already been tested and proven in 11 South Florida communities and can be a boom to the Miami-Dade economy.

Ride Freebee Mobile App
Depending on the needs of the municipality, Freebee provides 3 ways for people to use our service; on-demand capability through the Ride Freebee mobile app, a dedicated call-in number, or by flagging a vehicle down if you see it passing by. The most popular way is on-demand through the Ride Freebee mobile app.
The Ride Freebee mobile app is a cutting-edge technology that has been fully operational since 2015. With over four and a half years of development invested into this particular project to date, the Ride Freebee mobile application delivers a comprehensive experience to seamlessly connect people in need of transportation with professional chauffeurs, making the transportation process fun, quick and efficient. The design, look and feel of the app is far and away the gold standard of any existing mobile apps in the free-ride industry, and the functionality and backend data collection system is built out with the capability to track every piece of data. The Ride Freebee app is available in both the Apple Store and Google Play Store, for both iPhones and Android devices, and is accessible to anyone with either device. Four clicks of a button later, a rider can be connected with a driver instantly, without the need for a dispatch.
The Ride Freebee app will feature an integration with the Miami-Dade County transit system and the city’s current transit app. Transit users can open the Ride Freebee app and will see real-time tracking, as well as the ability to request on-demand rides to anywhere within the zone.
Upon downloading the Ride Freebee mobile app, each user is prompted to sign up with either an email address or Facebook login. This data collected during the signup process can be extremely valuable in the future, especially when factoring in the behavioral statistics of each rider and seeing how it matches up with a particular criteria.
For our pilot project, we have chosen the area of Downtown Dadeland/Dadeland Station. This is an area of major opportunity with two transportation hubs, and many residents/workers/visitors that connect to/from the station. For residents of the area; Freebee provides first mile connections to the Dadeland Station so they don't have to take their personal vehicle or look/pay for limited parking. For workers traveling to Dadeland Station, Freebee now is the last mile door-to-door connection to get them from the station to the front door of their workplace. Additionally, for all residents, workers, and visitors of the area needing to travel short distances (to lunch, meetings, personal errands, grocery store, etc), Freebee allows them to maneuver without them having to congest the streets with a personal vehicle.
With the ability to track both live data and data over time, we are able to manipulate the scheduling to ensure maximum vehicles on the road during peak times, and minimal vehicles on the road during non peak time. This maximizes ridership and the use of driver resources during the fluctuating demands.
Since 2012, we have worked with municipalities to provide a reliable transit option that is fun, easy, and convenient for riders and that is simple for the city. As such, we assume the responsibility for the service. City personnel are not needed to help coordinate vehicles, drivers, and schedules or to coordinate with local businesses. Our success is based on our ability to provide that service, from A to Z, for the city.
