Our own design encourages use of individual or rented bicycles by simplifying bike rack access to help reduce traffic and enhance Miami's lifestyle.  The sleek rack design we designed contributes in a functional and aesthetic way, replacing current larger and limited bike racks with a simple and elegant design solution that will be manufactured locally in Miami at low-cost. The proposal’s shape represents the bridges that connect Miami Beach with Miami and allows the bicycle chain to lock in any area within the design. Breakthrough design, simplicity and a way to make transport by bicycles in Miami easier and better.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

Source, build and manufacture prototypes locally in Miami and then work with Miami to install 3 to 5 prototypes to be used as proof-of-concept deployments. Then spend two weeks intercepting and monitoring the test sites to conduct brief research interviews of the bike riders using the bike rack (and those that choose not to) and prepare research summary to fine-tune concept and present to Miami-Dade to expand deployments at strategic public commuter locations on commercial basis. The concept can further extend to non-city private sector location sales in areas including shopping centers, leisure areas and commercial building areas or parking lots.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

Pilot would establish proof of concept for low-cost local Miami bike rack manufacture to build business plan around low-cost iconic design and the associated reserach step results would provide support for expansion and implemention with presentation to city and local properties for commercial deployment.

Yes Wilda, This is own original design that resulted for our survey of existing bike racks to make that system more accessible, at at lower-cost with a better design to match and and Miami's style. Both individual bikes and rented bikes can be attached to increase bike usage as rack design can secure any size bike to make decision to bike at peak traffic hours a better option.
