MD Traffic Saving Program App
State will subsidize employers participating on the program. Employers will pay bonuses to employees offering ride assistance to coworkers.
Traffic issues come from a great spectrum of variables (V). We have here in Miami Dade one of the highest statistics on VEHICLES PER CAPITA (V#1) and the big fraction of all Miami Dade traffic is about VEHICLES WITHOUT PASSENGERS (V#2). If we increase RIDE ASSISTANCE (V#3) we will have a significant change of vehicles, decreasing V#2, on the streets but this turns better if we increase V#1 in the ride "home-work and return" we will have the impact directly on the traffic rush hour.
Let's say our government spent billions in new and the maintenance of roads, and highways.
And this is not eco-friendly.
This is our current equation:
More people = more vehicles = more highways = less green = less oxygen = more accidents = more traffic = more money needed ... and again ...and again ...and again
But what will happen if we converge onto this dilemma each employer, each small, medium or transnational business. What will happen if we offer a tax exemption, or some kind of tax credit or even better some financial assistance for those who are willing to create a plan for their employees to provide ride assistance between each other using an application in our smartphones able to capture biometrics, able to monitor and verified GPS and able the application to report ride assistance offered how many miles
This employee deserves a reward thru the employer because is part of another equation, this employee saves money, saves traffic, saves green and saves people at the end.
