Zypps is a business-to-business logistics platform created by Zyleck Technologies, Inc. (Zyleck), a transportation technology start-up based in Atlanta, GA.   Zyleck is a minority owned business.  The Company has developed patent-pending proprietary algorithms (filed in more than 30 countries) that will impact Transportation Network Company (TNC) efficiencies in the $70 billion+ ride sharing and last mile package delivery market.  Our team includes experienced technology driven individuals from business, aviation, technology and transportation sectors.

We work with organizations who's members, employees or communities need a better ride sharing partner.  Scheduling rides and packages in and efficient delivery model ensures sustainability and affordability to all parties.

Our technology allocates, sequences and routes objects (people or packages) to drivers using our patent pending algorithm developed from a doctoral applied research for maximizing drivers’ income while minimizing miles driven and wait times which result in:

          1.  Increased efficiency (lower miles driven & decrease wait time) by up to 50%
               over current models

         2.  Higher driver payouts and lower driver turnover ratio

         3.  More sustainable business and environmental model

Zyleck has created a cash-less closed-loop payment system within the Zypps mobile and business app specifically for process and payment efficiency with business partners and customers in globally.

         1.  Will bring the un-banked/under-banked into the formal banking and regulated
              transportation system

        2.  Allows users to manage billing, payment and collection efficiently.

        3.  Re-loadable and convenient - just like using your Starbucks card

Describe who will use your solution (1,000 characters)

A "rider" in the Zypps business model can be a person or a package. A recent example is Pearle Washington, a local woman who does not own a car, but needed to get to a church meeting that was scheduled at 9:00 am. Pearle booked her ride on the Zypps app the night before. Another example is an elderly man in Decatur, GA who has a doctors appointment - he does not have a smart phone, but can call Common Courtesy (Zypps partner) where one of their dispatchers can go on the Zypps scheduling portal, schedule and pay for the ride for this gentleman. He will receive a text confirmation, then subsequent texts to let him know when the driver is out front to transport him. Zypps also delivers cookies, groceries and prescriptions within our people and package model.

We are launching in Atlanta and Jamaica as we are writing this. In each market we are discovering that people and businesses want an alternative to Uber and Lyft - they want to feel more in touch with the company providing rides. Example - we are launching with Common Courtesy - a non-profit who receives grants from the County to provide up to 16 rides per month for $1 each, they are ready to turn over their 5,000 rides per month to us for more local engagement and customization.

Rough Budget (500 characters)

We would use the designated funding to enter the Indianapolis market with our business model. Given that our application is operational, the funding would be deployed for local business development with organizations that provide rides and deliveries for families and businesses. In Atlanta, we are launching with Common Courtesy - a non-profit who receives grants from the County to provide up to 16 rides per month for $1 each. Our scheduling and driver deployment app powers that project.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

Our business model is based on scheduling rides in three business sectors: 1) Healthcare - getting those without transportation to and from appointments and delivering needed medication, 2) Food Deliver - grocery and meal delivery, 3) Traditional people and package delivery to scheduled events or destinations. We wrap this up with our ZyppsCard - a closed loop payment processing engine that allows for payment of services in-app. Our pilot phase in Indianapolis would focus on establishing a relationship with a local organization (our anchor tenant) that has similar goals to our partnership with Common Courtesy in Atlanta. Because our app is operational, we would then recruit quality drivers that are designated to this relationship, work to let the community know along with our partners and begin.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

Our measure of success would be that all parties win. The local community has an affordable option for transportation; riders and/or packages are delivered safely and securely on time to appointments or destinations. Zypps wins as our model demonstrates that we need less cars on the road, driver income increases and we maintain profitability while providing a discounted transportation solution to Indianapolis. This project is similar to our current launch in Jamaica - we are the first ride sharing technology to be allowed into a country where transportation options are limited for the Jamaican population. We are partnering with organizations and the main university on the island to make rides affordable and accessible.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

We believe that our model for ride sharing is far more sustainable than the current Uber and Lyft models, primarily because our technology relies on a patent pending scheduling concept that requires fewer drivers and less cars to maintain the same volumes of people and packages. Working together with partner businesses and organizations create a profitable model in each city we enter.
