Parking is a major part of any city transportation management plan. Whether it is parking at transportation hubs to get commuters out of their cars or parking in downtown cores, managing parking is key to keeping the city accessible. In the information age, parking management requires accurate and precise data on how parking stalls (ie parking spots) are being used.

The eleven-x parking management solution uses stall occupancy sensors to provide the granular data required to understand the life cycle of your parking assets. Occupancy data is collected over the eleven-x wireless network and collected in our software platform. Our analytics software then presents usage data in clear graphs so you can understand how the parking is being used. The intuitive UI allows parking managers to arrange the stall data into lots and groups that make sense to them and allows view data in various ways, so they build a full picture.  

Once data is collected, parking managers can make pragmatic decisions on parking projects, pricing and availability and see how those changes affect parking usage in real-time.

Understanding the needs of specialty spots such as Accessibility spots and EV charging spots is a rising challenge.   With our system you can know if you have the balance and locations for these key resources.

Eleven-x has the option to integrate the parking data stream into external application such as existing City parking application, way finding application or signage to direct drivers to available parking rather than have them driving in circles.

Our system is designed for use by Parking Managers as the key tool to understanding their parking assets and allow data driven decisions on parking infrastructure. The data can be fed to digital signage or way finding applications to help citizens reduce the time they spend in the car leading to reduced congestion and reduced green house gas emissions. The platform can also be used to aid parking enforcement by providing them with real-time updates on time-based infractions and allowing to reduce the amount of driving they do to monitor parking.

In cities and campus’, we monitor accessibility and EV parking and have identified under use and over used spots to assist in downtown planning. Private parking lot owners have increased their revenues by using our analytics to maximize the number of long-term permits they can sell without over selling.

Costs depend on the number and location of parking stalls that we would monitor. We can easily get started for $25000 but can support a project of much larger scal. A rough budget for a 100-sensor pilot in a single lot would be: $20000 for sensor hardware and installation. $1000 for wireless network installation $4000 for application setup, service fees for duration of the pilot and support.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

We propose a pilot that addresses a relatively contained, particular parking need or problem. Perhaps a problematic parking lot where it is either under or overused. Or perhaps a project to assess the suitable of a specialty parking, such as EV spots or Accessibility spots. We would work with City representatives to determine a pilot location that would drive meaningful outcomes but also provide insight into how a larger scale project would benefit Indianapolis.

The solution is deployed in several cities and we are sustaining these projects. Our customers are recognizing the value of the solution and quickly moving to further deployments leading to increased re-occurring revenue. We have 6 figure revenues and are backed by investors. Our parking solution is our most successful product and our business plans are to scale up our deployments and well as our staffing. We have a road map to increase our markets and further increase revenues.
