helps driver to fit her/his car in tight spaces, and also drive her/his car out of tight spaces without moving back &forth like current way.

Four small tires will be installed on the bottom of the car just beside the main tires of the car. Now these tires, when launched, will come out facing sideways with respect to the main tires of the car and lifts it few centimeters upwards and shifting it to the left or the right depending on the driver’s wish. What the driver only needs to do is stop his/her car perfectly adjacent to the parking space he/she found. Once they have done that, they only need to push one button (which will be installed on the dashboard which will order the tires to come out and shifts the car sideways) and the tires do the rest. This system has dual benefits because as I mentioned in the second question, the tires will be a great use of help for a sandwiched car as they move it safely to the outside without any contact with the cars in front of and behind him/her. The driver will also save his/her time and energy from trying to get the car out by moving it back and forth by readjusting the wheels several times. Hence, the parked car can no longer be wedged in ever.

Describe who will use your solution (1,000 characters)

Every single driver across the World! Remember the time you saw a perfect parking spot but declined to take it because of its tightness. This concept might seem too simple and not at all useful, but every driver wishes to have one of these systems installed on their cars during unexpected circumstances.

Describe your solution's stage of development

  • Initial Design - you are still exploring the idea and have not tested it with users

Insights from previous testing (500 characters)

I have not tested this idea yet. Although, I would like to get it up and going by winning this challenge.

Tell us about your team or organization (500 characters)

I do not have a team or an organization at the moment. However, If I win this challenge, I would create a team and bring this idea come to life.

Size of your team or organization

  • I am submitting as an individual

Funding Request

  • $100,000

Rough Budget (500 characters)

Since this idea needs a vehicle, the main budget will be on purchasing a car. Then the mechanical and electrical systems will be installed into the car. Thus, the next items that I'll purchase is the necessary mechanical and electrical systems.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

Well first, I would introduce the pilot to car companies and convince them to install the system in their cars, especially the new ones (however, this system can also be installed in cars already on the streets.) Then hopefully, if I could get the attention of the companies, I would convince them once more to install the system in vehicles within your state with a big discount and make Indianapolis have the honor of the birth place of this system. Mainly though, I hope this system gives equal working opportunities for different racial communities USA has, and be a role model for the unity in diversity of the great nation.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

I would claim my pilot is successful if i could A- bring a positive effect on Indianapolis's drivers in making their cruising lives easier. B- get Indianapolis's unemployment rate lower by opening a maintenance workshop and employing workers. C- decrease traffic which occurs by trying to park the current way. D- avoid scratches on cars which happens by parking the current way.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

Good question. This idea isn't primarily for profit making or has anything to do with money. However, it has the ambition of creating jobs in Indianapolis, uniting different communities via work, and helping drivers to meet their desires quickly and efficiently during unexpected circumstances. Thus, it needs a budget to achieve all of these, which is mainly why there needs to have a price tag.

Hi Abenezer, thank you for asking for my opinion. I think you should use the same type of dash, rearview, front view and 360 degree panoramic view camera that Ride-sharing 2.0 will use in each one of our vehicles, In addition you should include a sensor alarm that lets the drivers know when they are getting too close to the parked vehicles. Some people say I share too much, but I believe that when we help each other we help ourselves. This technology will be great for autonomous, hovering, and many future vehicles yet to come. I hope my input was helpful to your challenge.

Hey ELizabeth, I don't have words to express my appreciation and gratitude. You have taught me so much that I didn't know and on top of that your opinions were motivational and inspirational. Thank you so much for all of that.
I didn't know there were multiple cameras inside a car, I only knew about the rear view camera. The cameras will be a great instrument for this idea. What's only left is installing the smart parking system and applying it along with the help of the cameras and the sensor alarms as you said.
Your input was sooooo helpful and inspirational. Thanks a lot Elizabeth.
As always, I'd love to know for any other opinions you have.

Hi Abenezer, I would be honored to team up with you. Your idea is brilliant and would save a lot of vehicle damage. Yes I do have more ideas too. Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your dynamic team...liz

Hi Abenezer, you made my day! I am your best friend! Are you in or near Indianapolis. I have ideas that I want to discuss with you before we post them, however I think you should talk to Ford, because this could be bigger then you and I ever imagined especially if they get involved.
