Redesigning the impact areas of Vehicles even more. As a standard option to safety.

My thoughts are further make all vehicles impact areas even more crash resistant. And allow maximum travel at the State speed limit.

By creating and using more aerodynamic in Crash resistant surface on cars. I believe we can further protect our loved ones. By placing certain types of Technology we can substantially change the rate at which a vehicle crashes! For us do not change this, is to just accept the fact that cars are made to break the speed limit from the very factories that they are designed in. That in my opinion is not a successful way of thinking. A successful way of thinking would be to allow the vehicle to travel quickly and smoothly for a longer duration. Or for a better gas mileage then normally achieved. That will allow people to save money I'm gas do you feel better that they can spend the money elsewhere, and to know did their vehicle is funner and less likely to be hurt buy another vehicle because of the simple and thoughtful changes of the Ford company and others. Wanting them to enjoy the best of their driving experience.

Describe who will use your solution (1,000 characters)

The installation of a more aerodynamic and crash resistant parts to a vehicle. Plus the ability for the police to use it to silently remove a hostile threat. Without the situation escalating. Lets remove those that are intent on hitting someone from our paths. And place them in a driving reavaluation. Lets focus on getting people better. If they refuse the law has the right to take their driving privaleges. We should all respect an honor eachother on the road. Not have road rage from a design made to travel 180mph when the limit to safely travel on the highway is 65mph as an example. Which is NJ top speed allowed before a ticket should be issued.

Describe your solution's stage of development

  • Initial Design - you are still exploring the idea and have not tested it with users

Tell us about your team or organization (500 characters)

I'm currently by myself, as one with graphic arts, architecture/design and woodcrafting knowledge. All that would be used to prototype this design. Then with assistance to test and recraft where needed.

Size of your team or organization

  • I am submitting as an individual

Funding Request

  • $75,000

Rough Budget (500 characters)

1. Fix a tablet or buy a new AIO computer: $100-$700. 2. Buy tools to craft the designs: $5000. Look for a suitable work place, possibly right in Toms River, NJ :$10,000. 4. Setup a website with GoDaddy tools:$TBA. 5. Establish a phone number to be reach at at the office/shop: $-30. 6. Request helpers, 10 to start assistanting in making the product. $TBD. 7. Remaining funds would be set in a savings to grow and cover costs.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

During the pilot stage I'll use the website and shop to advertise and grow interest. Use things like social media to make people aware of the product. If that is only 50% effective, I'll have to make a video intro to the company and products. And have it run on stations like 99.1 or 90.7, etc.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

I would have a system in the website where the customers can log their MPG. And if they are getting better thats one part. How is their vehicle handling? What amounts and then percents are they saving. And as a customer that saving review can be displayed on the website.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

With a simple prototype vehicle well start offering it to bigger venue's. Example like a basball game. To get around in a fun and safe way. Especially if you have troubles walking, and its hot. Why should those people be denied the fun of a local game like that. Even offer to the Football stadium as a rentable vehicle. The statuim makes money and we get our portion, an ontop of that the people have a ton of fun. In a new and desperately needed unit.

Hey Robert P Tweed , this is MaCie' one of the online facilitators here. Welcome back to the challenge! While protecting other drivers is important during crashes, will these updates result in more deadly pedestrian-vehicle accidents?

No they will not because with better aerodynamics and lower weight the vehicle will stop easier. As well as using a simple enhancement in the crosswalks. If a person choses to ignore the places set to cross for best safety. The cameras will see that, as well as designing the vehicles to obey the state speed limit from the factory. If they want to go fast send them to the track. Why else have the police made a maximum speed limit?
