MyBoxMan is a social (collaborative) delivery platform solving last mile delivery problem. The users get notified of delivery missions on their commute and can deliver by any mode of transport ( car, bike, public transport or walk).

It gives residents, workers and visitors of Indianapolis an opportunity to optimize their journeys and commutes by delivering parcels, orders and getting paid for it.

For example, there are areas in Indianapolis where access to a car is nearly required to participate in economic life. With MyBoxMan low-income residents can afford cars and payback leasings with earnings by the application.

Similarly local businesses, restaurants, grocery and medical stores can offer affordable delivery options to their customers.

The clear advantages includes : reduction in carbon footprint, low delivery prices for businesses, additional (side) revenue channel for public.

Businesses : The solution is ideal for local businesses, convenience stores (proximity shops, groceries, medical stores, flower shops, fruit shops, bakeries etc ). Publics : Commuters, students, transport professionals and general public. MyBoxMan technology is integrated in Ford vehicles equiped with SYN3 technology. MyBoxMan signed partnership with Ford Motors that enables all Ford vehicles owners to earn money by delivering parcels. The partnership was announced by Ford Motor CEO Mark Fields, in his keynote speech at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in 2016. Since it's launch in France ( www.myboxman.com ), many renowned retailer / grocery chains ( Carrefour, Monoprix, Franprix etc ), proximity shops, flower, fruit and bakeries are using MyBoxMan ( www.myboxman.com ) on daily basis for delivery. MyBoxMan has a community of 30K member covering different major cities of France. The delivery missions have success rate of 90% thanks to advance prediction and matching algorithm that calculates and offer delivery opportunity to nearest community member.

The money will be used in : (i) Partnership with local businesses in Indianapolis ( 40% ) (ii) Community development (40% ) (iii) Technological adaptation (20%)

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

Pilot phase will split into following phases. Preparation Phase : We will make technological adjustments of MyBoxMan application, website for USA. For this purpose we will engage our technical resources. We will also set KPI ( Key Performance Indicators ) to evaluate success of Pilot phase. Launching Phase : In launching phase, we will do market research and detect businesses for prospection and will target for signing up for partnerships. Objective will be delivery missions in concerned areas. In parallel, we will launch social media campaign for building up the community. Objective will be download of our application. Execution Phase : After launch the delivery missions will be carried out and we will try to meet set KPIs to make it a success.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

We will define KPI's ( Key Performance Indicators ) to measure success of Pilot project. These KPI's are mainly related to : Business acquisition, Market adaptation, Cost / Acquisition, Cost / Execution, Quality matrix, Technological Superiority etc.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

Yes, based on our KPI's success threshold, we will plan to expand and accelerate our growth. We will decide to either go for self sustaining model ( with moderate growth plan ) or funding option ( to accelerate growth and development ). These options will be analyzed after Pilot projects success.

Hello Umar, your idea is a great solution for some communities. Is there a membership fee and if so how much? I love France- the wine, food, the accent, the attitude and from what I've seen the country is gorgeous! That's a great place for this type of pilot.

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your appreciation and yes France has a nice landscape, history, food and much to offer :) . You should consider visiting !
Regarding your questions :
1. There is no membership fee and it is available for free of cost. The people will get a chance to optimize their travels and get paid for it. For example, you can help getting groceries / medicines on way for senior citizen ( and get paid for it ).
It is also good for our planet as no extra vehicle will be on roads for delivery....
