Full description

Monorail connecting Woodward Ave Downtown Detroit to East Lansing to Downtown Grand Rapids. Each 10 miles along the way, we should have Uber ready to pick up or drop off station along I-96. There also should add option of monorails to transport our cars going to and use in city from other city. Let plan on making connecting a major Hub in Downtown Grand Rapids that will expand in future. For now using Uber 1.0, we had a new hub to focus on transportation out of city to keep Uber out of inner cities. This also benefit for possible future Driverless Uber transportation.

Hi Tom: You bring a unique perspective to the conversation as an Uber driver. I wonder if you could expand these thoughts into a proposal for the "Propose" phase of this Challenge. (The Challenge is seeking proposals through September 30 and is providing $100,000 to a winning proposal.) annie young posted a proposal related to ride-share pick up and drop off (https://challenges.cityoftomorrow.com/challenge/grand-rapids/propose/creating-designated-rideshare-pick-up-and-drop-off-points-in-some-areas-of-downtown). So, maybe you could contribute your expertise to her proposal. I'm the online facilitator for the Grand Rapids Challenge. So, let me know if I can help you refine the idea. You can submit a proposal here: https://challenges.cityoftomorrow.com/challenge/grand-rapids/propose/contribute.
