Pitch Black proposes developing a digital ecosystem platform, anchored by a responsive website. The platform will inform the residents and its visitors about the educational, economic and mobility options available in the community.

The platform places users at the center of all communications and engages with them on multiple channels. As engagement and interaction grow, data and analytics will be used to shape the content of the ecosystem and further strengthen the sense of community. We believe this two-way communication builds meaningful dialog, interaction, and benefits all parties.

The goal of Michigan Central Station’s impact area is to bridge the geographic area and bring unity to both the community and the workforce with a focused pride in Corktown its vibrant businesses, engaged residents, workforce and local, national and international visitors. Corktown’s business, cultural and neighborhood assets position the community to tell a new story about the city and mobility, one that addresses common misconceptions and creates a new narrative of an exciting, diverse and growing community. Our focus is to create a platform encouraging the intersection of people and ideas, creating an online destination the world will soon visit to experience the community, streets, and opportunities of tomorrow.

Pitch Black has created a variety of programs for clients ranging from the Woodward Avenue Action Association, M1 Rail / Qline, Oakland Housing’s North Pine Street community located in North Corktown, along with a campaign for the Detroit Historical Society's Detroit '67. This wide array of partnerships has validated our approach and execution, and we will use our four-step process in our project planning to ensure the pilot program’s success: • Discover • Define • Develop • Drive From the beginning of the pilot, we will work to set realistic expectations for deliverables, timelines, and milestones, as well as communicate implications for any delays or variances either on our part or client-side.

Pitch Black would establish a set of KPIs to benchmark against while also moving toward our overall program goal of increasing awareness, user engagement, and building details of identified users. As we achieve and refine these KPIs, we ultimately begin to strengthen our digital ecosystem and the overall impact: • Keyword positions • Increased Google indexing • Improved SERP • Alternative search engine traffic • Email growth list • Website sessions • Channel attribution • Awareness • User engagement

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

Pitch Black will build a community of advocates. Collaborating with an Advisory Panel, we will utilize in-person meetings, an online survey, and focus groups with the Ford Mobility’s key stakeholders, major employers, and local business leaders. The Advisory Panel will be vital in helping drive the identified goals and objectives. Our outreach and sustainability implementation includes: • Partner and Foundation support • Monetize advertising revenue streams • Data collection and analysis
