We use Artificial Intelligence to process data from mobile operators and turn it into sustainable solutions for the benefit of cities and their inhabitants. 

Our technology has been used to help our customers in different ways. For example, our flagship product consists on predicting in real-time parking spots availability on-street without the use of sensors or cameras, with an accuracy of up to 96%, contributing greatly to the reduction of traffic and pollution. It's worth noting that our parking solution does not require user interaction either

We have also found ways to help cities and governments to understand people and their behavior in order to improve their public policies on issues such as safety (crime prediction), urban planning, mobility, tourism (understanding flows at events, festivals, concerts, etc.), etc. We have also been able to generate value for the automotive industry, marketing agencies, real estate agencies and government entities and we are in talks with universities in theUnited States to use our solutions for the benefit of their students.

We are a European startup in full expansion to other countries, including the United States, Mexico and India. Other countries, such as Japan, Uruguay and Colombia, have expressed interest in our solutions.

How will your solution benefit residents, workers, or visitors in the Michigan Central Station impact area? (1,000 characters)

Our flagship solution is intended to be used by drivers looking for a parking spot. It can be provided as a mobile app in both iOS and Android with our logo or with someone else's. It can also be bundled into cars' dashboards. By using our app drivers will be decreasing substantially (cca 40%) traffic and cca 5kg of CO2 per driver/week impacting positively the 3 target groups and the planet. Our analytics are intended for decision-makers to make better policies which means that the impact of our solutions are also improving citizens' lives in the long-term as our solutions enable better planning and building based on the population's real needs and behavior. We also have a portal where cities can control and view the city's real-time situation such as long-time stats, road signs, sensors, public transport, bike sharing, off-street parking, etc. A public version of the portal can be created as well to share some of that info with citizens. We contribute to the UN’s SDG #11.

We are a Czech startup, we got incubated by Deutsche Telekom and we have received different awards for our technology. After some years in Central Europe we are now expanding to the US and Mexico. The management team has over 40 years of combined professional experience in areas such as Telecomms, IT, Project Management, Innovation, Marketing, etc in different industries. Rough Budget (500 characters)

Cost for covering 1 km2 is roughly 10K USD so the budget depends on the surface to cover and the price of data given by mobile operators. We estimate this project to be between 250-390K for the first year including implementation and other operational costs. As data's usually given by mobile operators (and revenues shared) we plan to negotiate to improve costs. The rest we can cover with our analytics products. The following years parking solution costs significantly lower than the first year.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

The implementation is normally divided in 3 phases: data evaluation, 3 initial calibration and finally launch of smart city. Out team will be present during the whole process to make sure it runs smoothly and if needed we'll have someone during the whole pilot. We have already launched in other European cities so we are expecting to have a smooth launch. Our team will likely include data scientists and the Regional Director for Americas. During the pilot we will train officials on how to run and access the City's and citizen's portal to get the most out of it. We will be launching the app on the US stores (App and Play Store) and would run a campaign to raise awareness in regards to the app and our technology. This campaign can include digital and classic media as well as meetings and live events. We will use the pilot to get feedback from our stakeholders to improve and refine our offer and make sure users are happy with it.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

We get real-time stats on how mobility improves with the adoption of our technology, which means we can measure how traffic improved over time. We will take pollution level's changes as another measure as both traffic and pollution decrease when parking issue is taken care off. By providing analytics on how the city moves and behaves we can also help to make better plans in regards to transportation (where's truly needed, for example). We are able to predict other events such as crimes to reinforce security in certain areas or establish other measures. A decrease in crime rates could be another good success measure. Other measures: # of app downloads in the area can tell how much it's getting attention. Then, we will open a support channel to collect and solve the users' problems and get other feedback such as suggestions for add-ons or additional uses to our tech. We will implement a process to follow-up on those comments to inform about resolution and improvement's progress.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

Most of the income we generate is related to analytics (B2B, B2C) and our sales to car manufacturers (B2B) as our technology can be applied to their cars to increase their value and appeal to drivers: (National/global parking solution: based on coverage with Telcoms) enable them to park easier and even pay among other features. By providing continuous analysis to different customers and making sure users increasingly use our app our company can remain sustainable as it’s been since day 1.
