DreamHighr will drive long-term economic growth, productivity and improve the standard of living for people in the Michigan Central Station(MCS) area by moving DreamHighr from Battle Creek, MI to the MCS area and bringing high tech jobs into the area and within five years DreamHIghr could grow to 1,000 employees. DreamHighr could be an effective corporate partner for small businesses and large enterprises by providing top talent to fill their job openings. I am building a jobs marketplace specializing in sourcing talent to our employer's job openings with top talent. My main goal is to build “The Everything Jobs Marketplace”. DreamHighr's difference makers will be our Artificial Intelligence Recruiting Application, Candidate Assessment Tool, and our one-year 100% Buyer Satisfaction Guarantee.

How will your solution benefit residents, workers, or visitors in the Michigan Central Station impact area? (1,000 characters)

The employer's journey begins with a need to hire a tech employee. Then the hiring manager goes to and posts a job. Then our app sends the hiring a job seeker's resume and then the hiring manager interviews the job seeker. Then the hiring manager offers the job seeker a job offer and the job seeker accepts or declines the offer. The job seeker's journey begins with a need for meaningful work or the need for a higher salary. Then the job seeker goes to and searches for a job and she finds her dream job and applies for a new job. Then she receives an invite to interview for the job. Then she is offered employment and she either accepts or declines the offer.

I have conducted customer discovery, surveys, market research, and community development activities. I have collected hundreds of survey and customer discovery results and I have learned our customers want actionable talent, fair pricing, a performance application, and great customer service. I have conducted thousands of employer surveys and customer discovery interviews via face to face, phone and by email. I’ve built an MVP, participated in two accelerators, and received $28,000 in grants.

Tell us about your team or organization (500 characters) is my project and I have 10 years of staffing industry experience where I was a top recruiter. One day I dreamt technology has the potential to make the hiring process more efficient and enjoyable for both the employer and job seekers. I have conducted customer discovery, surveys, market research, and community development activities. DreamHighr has generated revenue and we have active users.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

I have three goals to obtain during the pilot phase. My first goal is a two-part objective where I acquire 10 employer clients and 50 jobseeker clients who live in the Metro Detroit area during the first three months of operations. The second goal is to build an AI Recruiter application within a $100K budget funded by the Challenge Funding. Third goal is to generate $3K a month in revenue within the first six months. I believe DreamHighr will have an immediate positive impact on the Michigan Central Station(MCS) and Metro Detroit areas by sourcing top candidates to fill their job openings. The benefits of these activities will provide the local municipalities with added tax revenues and the candidates will have improved their quality of life.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

I will measure two performance indicators. One, job orders filled by DreamHighr in the Metro Detroit area is a performance indicator to be monitored. Two, DreamHighr’s monthly recurring revenue will be monitored. I will send District 6 staff, Michigan Central Station Development staff, and any other group involved with the City:One Challenge a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports as long as needed.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

I will survive after the pilot phase because I am working to attract demand-side employers and supply-side job seekers into our marketplace simultaneously. I use Email Marketing Campaigns, SEO, social media, and blogging to attract employers; and job seekers to DreamHighr’s website, where our clients can purchase resumes; staffing; candidate assessment services; advertise job openings; apply for employment; post resumes, and find educational blog posts for employers and job seekers.
