I think there should be 24 hour bus or shuttle routes running to and from the Ford from North Corktown.

I think the route should ride from Ford Campus east on Michigan Ave to Rosa Parks Blvd, west on I-75 service Drive to 1-96 service drive, North on Lawton (Covenant House/ Fountain Court/ Salvation Army/ U-D Dental School) East on MLK to 14th Ave , South on 14th st. to Ford’s campus.

*(Perhaps 16th st south to Temple.

Temple East to 15th St. North on 15th to MLK.  MLK to 14th)

Ford Campus East on Michigan Ave to Rosa Parks Blvd, North to MLK, East on MLK to Trumbull, South on Trumbull to Michigan Ave, West on Michigan to Ford Campus.

*(Perhaps west on Temple to Harrison then back to Trumbull to Michigan to Ford campus)

Reliable public transportation cuts down on car traffic, pollution, removes mobility barriers and provides better access to opportunities at and around the Ford campus for the residents in the immediate impact area.

I think similar interconnecting routes should be implemented in the three impact area - Hubbard Richard and Historic Corktown.

How will your solution benefit residents, workers, or visitors in the Michigan Central Station impact area? (1,000 characters)

The residents and employees of all ages and abilities in the immediate impact areas would benefit from public transportation be it shuttles, buses, bike and scooter shares.

Insights from previous testing (500 characters)

My theory is based on the response from residents during the Ford Winter Blast 2018. Many residents expressed how convenient it would be to be connected to Michigan Ave/ Ford campus via public transportation.

Access to the Ford campus for the residents in the impact areas would be the gauge of success.

I envision Ford underwriting this endeavor with annual input from the residents of the impact areas. Perhaps this could be a public private endeavor between DDOT/MDOT and Ford.

Hi Robyn Ussery thanks for submitting your ideas! I am part of the City:One facilitation team. I was wondering if you've seen some of the other proposals. Some people have the same ideas you do!
