Broomee is an ITS for on-demand public/massive transport ordered through a smartphone, which adjusts to the way of people life. It solves a problem of excluded areas, and inefficient routes of public transport as well as the high cost of public transport. 

Broomee decreases operating costs of public transport, adjust routes, and bus stations to people (when and how they need it - created on the need), and adjust the way how service is provided based on AI algorithms, using a different type of vehicles, considering people behaviours and habits.

What is the most important Broomee provides to people benefits of uber, taxi and private car in the best possible way of gathering it in massive transport. People do not need a private car in the city, with public transport powered by our system. It is on-demand, fast, comfortable, environment-friendly, cheap, effective and personalized.

Usually, we hear - I want Broomee in my city. We tested our solution in a real environment with users. We are implementing some UX features and creating AI algorithms for now. We prepare for first pilots in 2020, talking with cities and creating them offers.

Rough Budget (500 characters)

We need $25-50K to adjust a system and cover the cost of data, servers etc. How much it will be it depends on the scale of implementation. We evaluate it on the particular implementation. To make a pilot the city need vehicles and drivers to implement it. Those costs are not on our side but on the city. We provide only software to implement an on-demand massive transport ordered by smartphone, which adjusts to peoples' lives and help to implement it.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

We provide software to the city or transport provider in the city. They inform citizens about the new transportation solution. During a pilot, we will improve the solution based on citizens feedback. People will have access to the new way of massive transportation so it will solve problems, which you emphasized at the beginning.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

Number of users, the average number of users per vehicle during the day/hour/route, the number of saved kilometres compared to private transportation.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

We can work with a transport provider, who will provide transport using our solution or/and with a city, which could subsidize rides.

Hi Stefan Cylwik thanks for submitting Broomee to our proposal phase! I work with the facilitation team at City:One. It looks like you have been proving out this concept in many places already! I do have some questions. Detroit is a big city, by size. There are huge pockets of neighborhoods that are more remote than others, and there are many bus stops that are further away from people. How do you plan for this lack of residential density?

Hi Boratha Tan, sorry for a late answer. Our solution was successfully tested in the real environment, we implement our solution in Poland in 2020 for the first time. Our solution could be implemented in the part of the city, then the area of the service could be expanded. In less densified areas, when there is no bus stops closer to people homes the best solution is to use smaller vehicles and virtual bus stations. Comparing to the standard public transport (with fixed routes) in lower-density areas is much effective to use on-demand transport with smaller vehicles - costs, waiting time, service area.
