Challenges exist for youth to get to and from after school programs that are made available to them by community non-profits.    Mobility grants should be made available to non-profits to purchase and operate 25 passenger vans to transport youth from school to after school programs back to home locations.

Hi Sherwyn! Thank you for this post! I am a Michigan Central Station Challenge facilitator. I am interested to know more about the challenges that young people face when moving around the city. What do you feel are the main obstacles that young people face when getting around the city? How would their day-to-day experience change if there were a transportation solution?
