KeepFluent is looking at a solution for transportation that will help social isolation, alleviate congestion,  support current city planning while strategically looking at the future, have vetted and safe drivers, generate revenue for individuals and organizations and put money back into the local economy, allow for organizations to serve a greater reach of clients and focus services back into missions instead of worrying about transportation.

The concept of KeepFluent is to be a mobility platform that empowers individuals and local entities to transport and pick-up rides that are grouped strategically by an algorithm for maximum facilitation that specifically will use location and grouping to transport. With unconnected routes, wait times, no flexibility with transport options and with the elderly community being the most vulnerable in today's transport scene; KeepFluent is here to solve with a door-to-door service that is safe, maximizes our resources, and equitable to all.

Describe who will use your solution (1,000 characters)

Alone, at home, moved away from your families, isolated by not being mobile; these are just a few ways KeepFluent can help mitigate the problems that are occurring today. I will now be able to see where my mom is going in and who she is going with when I am half way across the country. Her health issues and medical expenses will be less due to her being more active. I don't have to worry about the language barrier since KeepFluent will ensure a certain degree of culturally competent services. We believe KeepFluent won't only solve the problem for the elder population but really is a launch to test our model for this vulnerable population that can be used by all.

Insights from previous testing (500 characters)

Volunteers had to give much time to get the list of riders communicated and updated and was a burnout task. Hired person started using the application and after she left, the platform has made it easier to manage average of 7 ride provider requests per week through volunteer time again. Below you can see the detailed feedback we have gotten from each of our partners that will help in the pilot.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

Increase our partnerships and trust within our Austin community, specifically non-profit community will help facilitate in the pilot going successful. Targeting different and diverse communities, specifically the elderly and east Austin population to ensure equity and specific functionality is needed would be KeepFluents top priority. By using user and driver feedback will navigate the next build and help in correcting the communication that is needed by all stakeholders. KeepFluent next step is looking for East Austin Requesting partners and solidify our relationship with our Fulfilling partners Requirement gathering Buildout Testing and Training Measure of success Scalability

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

Through Ride Metrics - Number of requested rides - Number of successfully completed rides - Number of feedback reviews received from Riders, transport providers, and partners - Number of solvable Issues reported - Number of non-resolvable issues reported (helps to design for future transport needs) Through interactions - Partner meetings - % of partner transport needs solved through KeepFluent The detailed feedback that will be used into piloting and to measure success: With CoA PARD: SAIVA ride requests were made through email and the auto-generated email ensures less errors in communication and confusion in addition to saving time spent on task Reports of rides are possible along with more accurate measures of service With CCV: has agreement with SAIVA and requests have been sent and fulfilled for almost a year Presented at National Village-to-Village Networks Summit who interested in partnership in building Co-membership. Platform can scale partnerships.

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

Yes! With our early on partners, we have seen a need for KeepFluent in the market. With our early stage development, our partners are already wanting to engage with more functionality and usage of KeepFluent. Looking at the market growth and statistics on population aging; KeepFluent will solve the transport for our older adult population and combating social isolation but for all, as well.
