hOp and our patented technology to authenticate when people come together unlocks the potential of community by eliminating feelings of "stranger danger" or being uncertain that an individual is meeting at the appropriate dynamic location at a specified time and place.

We believe we can address the real-time dynamic nature of your goals to guide individuals to meet up and to re-enforce community initiatives just as health education.

Describe who will use your solution (1,000 characters)

Anyone interested in spending more time in community, in reality. hOp is a brandable agnostic community building platform. Executed use cases include: - Building community for apartment owners/managers - Building community for non-profit campaign drives - Enabling spontaneous meetups at Music Festivals (ACL), Restaurants (Franklins)

Describe your solution's stage of development

  • Fully Scaled - you have already scaled your solution and are exploring new use cases

Insights from previous testing (500 characters)

- Someone helped by someone is 3.8x more likely to help someone. - Probability of rent renewal in an apartment increases by 70% if the resident knows 6 people by first name.

Tell us about your team or organization (500 characters)

Leadership was included in our attached deck about SafeHello. We're a team of 18 people based in Austin, TX who obsess about the importance of authentic community. We believe existing "social" networks encourage FAKE social and that real community needs in real life (IRL) engagement to feed our collective communal needs.

Rough budget (500 characters)

We own our technology and would like the opportunity to help others. It's literally our Company's name, hOp. It stands for help Other people. We capitalize the "O" to remember the importance of thinking of OTHERS.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

We plan on launching groups branded to the project's specifications and made accessible to the target community on Android and iOS app stores. These groups would be introduced as the source of truth for how to obtain access to health information and/or how to meetup with the specific service or individual safely. Examples could include rideshare/car pool/ sharing of resources and more.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

We would measure all aspects of "community" engagement on the branded platform as well as the offline "meetups" that were facilitated via the platform. KPIs would include: - # of IRL (in real life) meet-ups - # of Miles or dollars saved by carpooling or facilitating ride share - # of "PERKS" utilized - We procure and enable redemption of unique offers for each community - $ saved via PERKS. Total and average per PERK redemption

Sustainability Plan (500 characters)

Yes. We are currently paid by the community sponsor. Our most common use case has a real estate owner/operator paying for a branded instance of their community. We would be open to this group living on and being directly sponsored or we could explore "donating" the group to a 501c organization affiliated with your efforts.
