3D sensor provides not only the rgb images but also 3D information of each pixel, so when a object is detected, its 3D location is also known, this give the vehicle a critical information to make timely decision .

3D sensor will become a very basic module in the future. artificial intelligence is gaining more and more attraction in every market, but so far the current vision based artificial system only tells what it is,it lack of 3D information, so 3D sensor acts like eyes to human brain. the followings are very important markets for 3D sensor : 1. ADAS (advanced driving assistant system) and self-driving cars 2. drones for collision avoidance 3. robot-arms : localizing objects for grabbing 4. 3D human gesture / hand gesture for game application or remote GUI control 5. robotics 6. any application where 3D information is required

I believe my idea of business has already been proven by microsoft and intel , because they have such a 3D sensor product . our advantage compared to them is low-cost while still maintaining high performance . the performance of the sample product is the very important measure for success, but this has already been guaranteed from the prototype !

yes the idea can be sustained after the pilot period . after the sample product is ready it is quite ready to take orders from customers , and the revenues will rolling up just like rolling a snow ball. because the 3D sensor is such a fundamental module in the market, so it is surely highly demanded .
