Autonomous vehicles are notoriously dangerous, partially because the algorithms that power them do not have sufficient data to know how to drive safely. Our smart dash cameras powered by AI allow today's human drivers collect visual maps of the roads and driver habit data, which can then be analyzed by AI in the cloud and then fed to autonomous vehicle companies. Now autonomous vehicle companies can enjoy the benefit of human driven data on actual real-time road conditions, how to drive them, and what they look like. We call it the SocialCam, for end-users it allows them to capture fun videos for social media. 

Describe who will use your solution (1,000 characters)

Heres an example of our backup camera, but the smart dash camera is releasing in just a month. We put the aftermarket new car technology that customers want on their vehicles, but it gives us a very important place in today's cars driven by humans. For our smart dash camera, a customer can purchase one for use of collecting videos of their travels on the road, then share them easily on social media. To do this, they just mount the camera in their car and use the FenSens app to stream video and capture video "moments" with our patented TAP QuickLaunch button that, when pressed, performs a specific action on the app on the phone. In the cloud, where the video is stored, we analyze the video w/ AI to determine where objects are, how humans actually drive the road (and why), and look for behavior patterns consistent with that exact location on the maps, such as 11pm at night on a Friday in a bar district being incredibly dangerous from driving conditions due to random pedestrian crossings

Insights from previous testing (500 characters)

We have 2 previous products that built up to this solution, including the smart backup camera and smart parking sensor. These products have been extremely successful selling in retail and last year alone we recorded over 540,000 safe parking actions by users from our app, a 580% increase. We also find that if they are likely to use our backup camera, they're likely to use another product, like a smart dash camera that works with the same app.

Our team is a combination of software, hardware, and Insurance industry veterans. Our CEO has over 12 years of experience as an entrepreneur in software and hardware development. Our advisor is the former CTO of Aflac and All State. Our CTO is a former Google member and has over 10 years of experience. Our lead investor has been in the auto body industry for over 40 years.

We have some investment coming in from Angel and VC investors, but would like a strong partnership and investment with your program as well because we feel like you are philosophically aligned with our mission. We will primarily spend the money on AI engineering as we get the product manufactured over the next few months.

Describe how you would pilot your idea (1000 characters)

We'll start with a rollout to 1,000 customers primarily sold thorough our website and Amazon initially. Depending on the performance, we'll then roll out into our retail partner stores Best Buy, Fry's, and more. We'll be performing significant road tests over the next few months.

Describe how you would measure the success of your pilot (1000 characters)

The success of this program will be the amount of users we can achieve, the number of insurance incidents we're able to capture intelligence for, and roughly the amount of video data we're able to collect and analyze.

Yes, we have the revenue from the hardware sales and previous products to continue to support manufacturing and marketing this product to grow our user base and collect more helpful data.
