Full description

By planting more trees near the trails off of Lady Bird Lake (Town Lake) on the east side of IH-35, citizens will be more inclined to walk on that side of the lake. This also benefits the homes located in the area as it enhances the greenery aesthetics of the trail. People, the environment, the trail, and Austin all win. Plus the price to plant trees it not hard to justify in paying.

Michael Salazar , I find this solution to be creative in that it works towards several problems at once as well as promoting a form of mobility that can contribute to our overall health.

Thank you for inspiring innovation within our city, are there more areas you can see the planting of trees enabling more foot traffic?
