The Mueller subdivision at the old Austin airport is an excellent example of incorporating businesses and homes in one central location. Having a park, movie theater, and HEB grocery store, increases the chances for a person to walk as important amenities are within walking distance thus reducing the need to use a vehicle and lowers the amount of traffic in Austin. This model of living can be applied to future developments in East Austin.
